The search efforts have now been stood down, and Máire has thankfully been returned to her loved ones, R.I.P.
A sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of our Unit members, and the countless volunteers who searched Galway Bay over the past ten days.
Also a thank you to the many many agencies, voluntary groups and organisations who coordinated and conducted searches.
Particular mention to Rescue 115, and RNLI, Galway Lifeboat Station who were involved in the recovery operation today.
