These water zones are based on the Joint Agency Search Zone number system, however the zones are shoreline zones and sometimes we need to extend our searches further out into Galway Bay. Alpha zones should be identical to Joint Agency, Bravo, Charlie and Delta zones work outwards from shore and snap to grids to make searching zones easier and more logical.
