Boat Unit

The Oranmore Maree Coastal Search Unit (OMCSU)
is a voluntary group established to assist in the search for missing persons in local coastal areas of Galway Bay.

The Boat Unit provides 3 primary functions:

  1. Conducting water bases searches along the shoreline and further out in open water
  2. Investigation service for land based Zone Leaders, investigating any possible sightings from shore
  3. Emergency response in the event of injury to Zone Leaders
